Single obstacles
Climbing Cargo Net and Rope Ladder
4.4 out of 5 from 8 write-ups on our product listing
A net is the one obstacle that makes children queue. This one is woven from the same flat yellow webbing as our straps, so it holds its shape instead of collapsing into a rope salad, and the squares are sized for small hands and small shoes. Hang it off a ninja line, a jungle gym crossbar, a sturdy branch or a swing frame.
Why it is built this way
What you are getting
- Flat webbing, not round ropeWebbing keeps the grid open. A child reaching for the next square finds it where it was last time, which is most of what confidence on a climbing net is made of.
- Hangs off almost anythingLine, beam, branch, frame. It needs a horizontal thing above it and clear ground below, and nothing else.
- Doubles as a ladderHung from one edge it is a net; hung from the short end it is a rope ladder into a treehouse or up to a platform.
- Bright enough to findYellow does not disappear into a hedge at dusk, and it does not disappear into a garage either.

About the Climbing Cargo Net and Rope Ladder
Does it come with carabiners?
It has webbing loops at the corners. Use the delta carabiners from a line kit, or any rated climbing carabiner you already own.
How high should I hang it?
Low enough that the bottom edge is reachable from standing, and over grass or bark rather than paving.
Can two children climb at once?
On a wide net, yes — side by side rather than one above the other, so nobody is stepping on a hand.
